Former President Obama returns to politics

According to a statement issued by former U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder, Barack Obama will continue his political career

The former U.S. President will get involved into the development of the new National Democratic Redistricting Committee, as Democrats currently focus on ending “Trump-ism”, making their voices heard into the Congress and regain control over the country’s legislation.

With this plan in mind, the group aims to reposition Democrats regarding legislatures and the overall presence inside the House of Representatives, as Barack Obama’s main focus will revolve around General Assembly races and the 2020 Census.

According to Marc Elias, the group’s lawyer and counselor, new court lawsuits are to be expected in the near future. This is really a battle for our democracy. The notion that people are denied their ability to cast a meaningful vote is inconsistent with who we say we are, inconsistent with what we say our democracy is about,” Elias concluded.
