John Kasich withdraws from the presidential race

Kasich took the decision to drop out the presidential race due to no chances to victory

“I have always said that the Lord has a purpose for me as he has for everyone. And as I suspend my campaign today, I have renewed faith, deeper faith, that the Lord will show me the way forward, and fulfill the purpose of my life,” Kasich declared for the press-conference in Columbus, Ohio.

Despite winning his home state in March, John Kasich had no clear path to winning the race. His campaign was experiencing huge pressure after preventing Donald Trump to win the nomination needed from the delegates.

According to undisclosed sources, the Republican contestant told his friends that his heart “is not in this” and suddenly decided to quit the race.

The governor made the official announcement yesterday, making Trump the next presumptive GOP appointee.
