About West Herald

Over the decades, Doha of Qatar has become a regional trade and business hub. Most major companies in the world now have several offices in Doha in a bid to increase their influence in the Gulf countries.

Doing business without practical information and intelligence is meaningless. At this time, only a limited number of English websites are operating directly from the Middle East region.

In 2014, Hossein Karami and Karim Hasani decided to establish the West Herald in order to provide international companies with business and social information about the Gulf countries. Therefore, the companies willing to do business in the Middle East will have better overview and insight over the region.

WestHerald.com was officially started its operation in January 2015 with only two reporters. However, great support from the readers made us to expand our team. Currently there are some 10 people contributing to the West Herald.

At this website, we aim to publish articles and news stories that impact international companies doing business in Gulf countries. For example, we believe foreign companies need to keep track of the latest political developments in the region.

We are hiring talented journalists who are willing to share the same idea. If you are interested in joining our team, please drop us a line. We will review your CV and get back to you accordingly.
