Variety Children’s charity event that took place in Birmingham had over 300 guests and raised more than $225,000
The tickets started from $250 for general admission and went up to $500 for VIP tickets. The guests enjoyed a nice atmosphere, dancing, cocktails, and a dinner where the participants had a fillet mignon and pan-seared halibut.
Paul Smith was called to the stage along with three special Variety children: Henry, Kinsley, and Annabelle. They shared the successes that they had with Variety’s program and how happy they are that they had this opportunity.
Variety Children’s charity celebrated their 85th anniversary. Moreover, Bruce Rosen was honored and praised for his enthusiastic support, as well as for his dedication to the children of Variety.
The organization uses all the money it raises to help children with special needs.
At the same time, the 12th Annual Red Tie Ball tool place at the Dearborn Inn. The theme of the event was Great Gatsby and more than 300 guests were present. There was a cocktail reception that started the event and a silent auction. There was also a sit-down dinner where beef Wellington and grilled slamon were served.
The thickets for this event amounted for $275 and also included a short program, Gatsby-themed, were guests could dance.
More than $10,000 were raised in the silent auction, while more than $72,000 were raised at the live auction. Overall, the final amount accounted for roughly $327,000. The money will be used to benefit the Center for Exceptional Families and the NICU at Beaumont Hospital in Dearborn.
