Muslims Should be Led by Ayatollah Khamenei: Analyst

In the recent years, the Government of Iran has actively been supporting the insurgency groups that are fighting against the Government of Israel. The Supreme Leader of Iran, Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, in 2010, expressed that the Islamic Republic of Iran is willing to support all groups and individuals that wish to fight against Israel.

Hojjatoleslam Seyed Reza Taghavi, in a recent gathering, said that the Muslims in Middle East should treat Ayatollah Ali Khamenei as the leader of all Jihadist groups in Lebanon and Syria. As of now, militant Jihadist groups such as Hamas from Palestine and Hezbollah from Lebanon, continue to enjoy support from the Islamic Republic of Israel.

Taghavi also said that Iran has now established itself as one of the major powers in the world and it is actively getting involved in the development of its neighboring countries. As per the politician, even the United States is aware of the power of Iran and is now trying to collaborate with Iran to address various issues prevailing in the region.

However, the opposition parties and nationalists of Iran have constantly urged the Government to stop supporting the militant groups. But Iran still continues to provide the militants with millions of dollars to keep the insurgency and militant groups active in the Syria, Palestine, Lebanon and surrounding regions mainly against the United States and Israeli Government.

However, the Government of Israel continues to suppress all plans made by the Islamic Republic of Iran and are constantly blaming Iran for its nuclear program. Iran is not working on any nuclear program as claimed by Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, as it considered to be Haram. This was said by Hojjatoleslam Seyed Reza Taghavi when he addressed a press conference held recently.

The dispute prevailing between both the nations surged suddenly when Iran was headed by Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. However, with the new government in place led by Hassan Rouhani, the tensions are set to de-escalate and Iran and Israel plan to revive their friendship, which was prevalent during the period when both the nations were ruled by the Pahlavi dynasty.
