Kenyan President condemns North Korea’s Nuclear Threat

Uhuru Kenyatta has denounced the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea for testing nuclear weapons and missiles

During the visit of South Korean President Park Geun-hye at the State House in Nairobi last week, the Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta clearly condemned North Korea’s provocative nuclear tests that could easily bring tensions and dangers in the area, as well as undermine social and economic stability of both South Korea and Kenya.

After denouncing the irresponsible acts of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, he urged for the country to stop its testing and disrupt provocations.

Kenyatta also reassured the audience that Kenya will take all the necessary steps to properly implement the United Nations Security Council Resolution 2270. Moreover, the African country will fully support and assist South Korea’s policies in response to Pyongyang’s threats.
